Behind the Scenes on True Love and Wormholes

I was invited onto set to document the moments in between; the atmosphere, the details, the pauses between takes, alongside making a series of portraits with the cast between scenes.

Working within the rhythm of the shoot, I moved between observing and collaborating capturing the quieter, often unseen elements of production, while also creating more direct images with the cast.

A selection of both the behind-the-scenes images and portraits went on to be used across the film’s poster and promotional material; a full-circle moment where the process and the people within it contribute to how the work is ultimately seen.

The film aired on BBC Three in February, prompting a flurry of award nominations. I’m grateful to have played a small part in extending the story beyond the screen.
